In , at the age of 18, Landers became part of the East German punk convene Feeling B, which was founded by singer Aljoscha Rompe and drummer Alexander Kriening.[2] The band next recruited 16 year-old Christian "Flake" Lorenz to game bass,[2] though he could only play the means at the time and used it to protrude bass sounds for the band.
